In Greensboro, a plug or patch repair usually takes under half an hour without an appointment, while a full set of tires with alignment is best booked ahead. Compare the out-the-door price across shops in North Carolina, since installation fees vary more than the tires themselves. Keep the receipt: the tire warranty and any road-hazard coverage are tied to it. Demand peaks before winter and before summer road trips. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop sells used tires or handles truck and trailer tires, and its Google rating before you drive over on a spare.

⭐☆☆☆☆ I never imagined I would be leaving a review like this for J & D Auto. I've known the owners and their family for over 20 years and trusted them enough to leave my vehicle in their care. That trust was completely shattered. I took my vehicle in to have my brakes and rotors replaced. After I got it back, I discovered that my firearm had been taken from my glove compartment, along with the spare change I kept in a bag in my center console. I immediately filed a police report and provided the serial number for my firearm. What has upset me even more than the theft is how I was treated afterward. I spoke with one of the owners, Hansen, and asked who had worked on my vehicle. He told me he didn't know but would find out. He never came back to speak with me, never updated me, and never showed any concern. Even after the police arrived and took my report in the parking lot, no one came out to check on me, apologize, or discuss what had happened. After more than two decades of knowing this family, I expected accountability, concern, and at the very least a conversation. Instead, I was left feeling ignored and completely let down during one of the most upsetting experiences I've h

I came and got my tires replaced the next day one of my tires went completely flat while driving. The rim is bent in which I’m sure causes the tire to go flat, which is very dangerous and could’ve cause me to get into an accident.

I bought four brand new tires yesterday around 330’ pm on 03/10/25 I woke up to my left tire being completely flat on 3/11/25 at 7am . I will be going back up there and I will let you guys know if they helped with their mistake or if they are going to try and pin it on me. It’s always hard going to African American shops trying to support your people cause they don’t do right or fix mistakes .
